Nicolette van der Jagt has served as Director General of CLECAT, the European association representing logistics service providers and freight forwarders, since 2012. Through 24 national associations, CLECAT represents more than 19,000 companies across freight forwarding, logistics and customs services.

Prior to joining CLECAT, Nicolette spent 10 years as Secretary General of the European Shippers' Council, representing the freight interests of industry and national shippers' councils across Europe. With extensive experience across freight transport and European policy, she holds degrees in international relations and European studies from Utrecht University and the University of Strasbourg.
