Jan studied molecular science at Wageningen University & research. Since 2007, he has held various managements positions at RDW (the Netherlands Vehicle Authority), including program manager, manger of IT projects, manager of front office and manager of vehicle registration. As of March 2022, Jan is the head of a new toll department of RDW. He is 54 years old and lives with his wife anad two children in Assen, in the Northern part of Netherlands. In his free time, Jan like cycling through the Dutch countryside and playing tennis.
