Member (Technical), National Highways Authority of India

Shri Alok Deepankar has completed B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT, Kanpur in 1992 and M.Tech from IIT, Roorkee in 1994.

He joined Central Engineering Service (Road) - Ministry of Road Transport & Highways in 1995.

Alok Deepankar is presently Member (Technical) at NHAI with experience of more than 29 years in the filed of maintenance, management and development of National Highways and Expressways in the country. He has worked in policy making roles and project implemention with Ministry of Road Transport & Highways and NHAI.

Alok Deepankar is presently leading the team responsible for implmentation and management of National Highways Network in various States of India including network of Greenfield Corridors like, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway. NHAI has now set target for development of network of 14,000 km. expressway/access controlled highways in next 5 years.
