Amit is a Senior Highway professional having experience in multiple roles in the Large Infrastructure Sector of Government and Public Sector Undertakings. Amit has handled and Lead Highway Projects under FIDIC, EPC, HAM and BOT Mode. He is credited to complete many critical Projects across North India which were struck in severe contractual complications.

While his assignment in Asset Monetization Division, NHAI achieved record-high asset monetization figures in FY2023-24. Amit is currently overseeing the technology arm of NHAI, Indian Highway Management Company Ltd (IHMCL), as the Chief Operating Officer and is spearheading significant projects such as satellite-based tolling.

Amit holds a Post Graduation degree in Transportation Engineering from National Institute of Technology Jaipur and also a degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from NALSAR University Hyderabad. Amit has been bestowed with ‘Fellow’ Membership (FIE) and Professional Engineer(PE(Ind)) Membership from Institutions of Engineer(India). He is a Life Member of Indian Road Congress.
