Ir. Ts. Dr. Iskandar Bin Abdul Hamid is a Senior Research Officer at the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS), an institute under the Ministry of Transport, Malaysia. In MIROS, he is a Senior Research Officer and the Director for Sarawak Road Safety Program. Previously, he was the Head of Research Management and CommercializationUnit and had managed hundreds of research projects funded by MIROS or external parties. He is also a Senior Crash Reconstructionist and had attended official crash investigation training at the Centre for Automotive Safety Research, University of Adelaide, Australia. Since then, he had established in-depth, research-based crash investigation team during the early days of MIROS, the first of its kind in Malaysia. He had attended more than 100 high profile road traffic crash investigation and reconstruction. Some of the investigation findings and recommendations have been brought up to the Malaysian Cabinet and become the national road safety policies.
