Professor Vu embarked on his academic journey after many years of serving in the government in various positions, including CEO of Song Cam Chemical Company, Vice Chairman of the Board of Dinh Vu (Deep C) Economic Zone, and Deputy Chief of the Government Office of Hai Phong City.  

Professor Vu’s research and teaching interests encompass economic growth and productivity analysis, economic development strategy, digital transformation, energy transition, and economic integration, with a particular focus on ASEAN countries, China, and India.
