Dr Elly Adriani Sinaga MSc. DIC has worked with the Ministry of Transportation for the Republic of Indonesia for around 35 years. She has been appointed to some important positions, including director of urban transport system development (2007-2010); director-general of the Research and Development Agency (2011-2015) and, in 2016, assigned by the president of the Republic of Indonesia as a director-general of the Greater Jakarta Transport Authority. Dr Sinaga actively works with ITS Indonesia as an advisor and a senior lecturer at the Institute of Transportation and Logistics Trisakti. Ahe also contributes to the Ministry of Transportation on a part time basis. In 2018, she was assigned president of the Indonesia Road Safety Partnership (IRSP), a position she still holds today.
