Gonggom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Gadjah Mada and a double Master’s Degree from the University of Gadjah Mada and the University of Leeds, specializing in Transport Planning and Engineering. Before joining ITDP Indonesia in 2022, he worked in Qatar, supporting the government in implementing various public transport projects and developing accessibility standards and integrated public transport information portals. In March 2024, Gonggom was appointed Southeast Asia Director of ITDP from his previous role as Interim Director of ITDP Indonesia.
